After spending his formative years in New Zealand, Dr Zi Wei Lim moved to Australia to pursue his General Dental degree at the University of Adelaide, where he was recognised for his academic excellence and placed on the Dean’s Honours list.
Dr Lim went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours). He then practiced as a general dentist over many years in public and private sectors across Adelaide and Melbourne before completing a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics, focusing on the latest clear aligner technology.
An active participant in the dental community, Dr Lim has contributed to the education of future dentists as a clinical demonstrator and stays current with advancements in orthodontics through regular attendance at conferences worldwide.
His professional affiliations include the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO), the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO). Dr Lim has also served as a reviewer for the Australian Orthodontic Journal, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field.
Dr Lim is excited to bring his expertise, enthusiasm, and compassionate care to our patients, contributing to their confidence and well-being through exceptional orthodontic treatment.
When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, Zi enjoys exploring the world through food, music, and travel. He especially enjoys a good cup of coffee.
