My teeth feel sore

If you have sore teeth, please know that it is normal to have some discomfort during orthodontic treatment as your teeth are moving. Over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol (Panadol) may alleviate some of this discomfort.

It has also been described as a ‘ticklish’ feeling or just a little bit ‘bruised’.

It will help if you stick to a softer diet until you feel more comfortable.
