We made the decision to close our toothbrushing stations to protect you from exposure to cross-contamination areas. Even though we regularly clean these locations, as we are sure you will appreciate there are too many contamination points to provide coronavirus worthy sanitization.
If you are coming to your appointment from home – which given the circumstances most of you probably will be – you have the best opportunity to give your teeth a really great scrub prior to your visit.
If you have eaten or drunk anything on the way or you need a freshen up prior to your appointment we suggest the following as an in-car cleaning kit;
- Bottle of water
- Toothpaste
- Travel toothbrush – let us know if you need another MOG travel brush.
- Mouthwash
- Floss
Naturally, you will also need a container to use as a basin that you can seal and take home.
This is of course not ideal – but these are very exceptional times and it is for your safety as well as other patients and team members that we are asking you to take these precautions. All the normal brushing criteria apply – see the quick instructions below.
If you do attend your appointment and your teeth are unclean we may require you to reschedule, so please do your best to help us help you through these strange times.
