Waiting room ettiquite

Many shops and queuing locations have added floor-based stickers as guides for social distancing.

Our waiting areas are not that large, and as anybody who has visited during that afterschool rush can attest, they can get a bit crowded.

That is why we are asking where possible;

  • Only the patient to enter the premises,
  • No entry unless you are wearing a face mask or approved face covering,
  • Use hand sanitiser on arrival/entry to practice and to clinical area,
  • If you do have to enter the waiting room to maintain at least a full arms-length distance between yourself and the next person waiting.

It all seems a bit strange, but by now we all understand that it is not only for our safety but the safety of others and the health system that we attempt to limit the opportunity for person to person transmissions.
