You are here: Home / Guide for patients during our temporary COVID closure / What happens if I have lost an aligner?

What happens if I have lost an aligner?

If you have lost your current aligner, simply move forward to the next in the sequence and wear it for an extra week.

If it was the last aligner you had, revert back to the previous one, this will at least act as your retainer until we can see you again.

Please do NOT stop wearing any aligners or your treatment will be compromised.  If you have no aligners to wear please email us immediately for advice.

Remember to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after removing and placing your aligners.
