Removable Retainer
When your braces were removed, you were given a removable retainer to wear, with specific instructions from your orthodontist.
If you break your retainer during the time of practice closure, please continue to wear it if possible.
If you happen to lose it, there is nothing we can do due to the imposed restrictions. So we recommend you are extra careful with caring for your retainers and keeping them clean.
We absolutely cannot replace any lost or broken retainers at this time – but watch for our notification for when we are able to commence regular treatment, and you can visit to have a repair or remake.
Bonded Retainer
If you have a bonded retainer behind your teeth and the wire becomes loose, we are very sorry, but there is nothing we can do for you.
We suggest that you use the wax by pushing it into the wire if it is irritating, and watch for our notifications so we can arrange a repair as soon as we are permitted to commence regular treatments again.
