What should I do if I am wearing braces or an appliance?

Please make sure you maintain good oral hygiene by brushing three times a day and regular flossing.  Also remember, DO NOT eat forbidden foods to avoid any breakages.

For a refresher on the correct foods to eat when you have braces see this post.

The good news is that at MOG, we use a system developed by Dwight Damon to manage his patients who would go hunting in Alaska for six months. His remarkable innovation in designing the “Damon Bracket System” means that for our patients, treatment progresses virtually automatically, often over an extended time.

So there is no need to worry. For the vast majority of our patients, treatment will progress, albeit more slowly, and we will be able to advance your treatment once we are permitted to reopen for routine appointments.
